What ADAI licenses look like
ADAI’s Structural Pest Control Section regulates four primary applicator categories under Title 80 of the Alabama Administrative Code:
- HPC (Household Pest Control) — general indoor and yard pest work: roaches, ants, spiders, fleas, mosquito barrier, rodents
- WDC (Wood Destroying Organi Certified Operator) — termite treatment, NPMA-33 issuance, bond contracts
- WDS (Wood Destroying Organi Supervisor) — branch supervisor under WDC
- FC (Fumigation Pest Control) — whole-structure tenting (Vikane / sulfuryl fluoride)
Some operators also hold OTPS (Outdoor Termite & Pest Specialist) or IIHC (Industrial, Institutional, Health-Related Certified) for specialized work.
Every license carries:
- Active expiration date (annual renewal)
- Categories the operator is qualified in
- Company affiliation (or “independent”)
How do you verify a Mobile technician’s license?
